Note: this procedure differs from previous versions.

Linux:
As the super user:

  1. Copy the cp30s.linux.zip file to a working directory, such as /tmp.
  2. Unzip the file to extract the two files contained in the zip. Alternatively, you can extract the two files and copy them to a working directory.
  3. Run sudo ./cp30s.install.sh, answer the prompts. This creates a cp30s user, and installs a service in the systemd configuration.
  4. Start and stop the server with: sudo cp30s start, sudo cp30s stop, or sudo cp30s restart
  5. To access the browser interface, open http://servername:27082 or https://servername:27083. The default login is admin with a random password. Enter sudo cp30s -getpass admin to view this password. You can change the password via the browser interface.

Windows 2016 and up:

  1. Right-click the cp30s.setup.exe program and run as administrator
  2. Answer the prompts. The installation will create and start a service CirrusPrint 3.0 Server.
  3. A shortcut to the CirrusPrint 3.0 Server is created on your desktop and start menu. This runs the CirrusPrint 3.0 Server Manager tool, which can open, start, and stop the service. A run as administrator button enables access to all its features.
  4. To access the browser interface, open http://servername:27082 or https://servername:27083. The default login is admin with a random password. You can copy this password to the clipboard with the CirrusPrint 3.0 Server Manager program. You can change the password via the browser interface.

More information is in the manual at: /docs/cp30/index.html
